Welcome to Scouting at St. Clare of Assisi
The Boy Scouts of America has served our nation's youth since 1920; and St. Clare of Assisi has charter Cub Scout Pack 371 and Boy Scout Troop 371 since 1967, helping to spark creativity, leadershp, individuality, commitment, diversity and voluteerism within the hearts of hunderds of scouts.
The boys in Cub Scout Pack 371 and Boy Scout Troop 371 each year perform many sevice hours for those in the parish and community by participating in programs including "Cans for Computer", Improve the Region with Your Bare Hands", "Toys for Tots", "River Relief-The Great Clean-Up" and "Scouting for Food".
St. Clare of Assisi is very proud of it's scouting program. Only about four percent of all Boy Scouts achieve the level of Eagle Scout, however, there were four St. Clare Scouts in 2002, and three in 2003, who were recognized as Eagle Scouts. In addition to the Eagle Scouts, St. Clare Scouts have been award medals on the national level for heroic actions using the skills learned in Scouting.
