Bear !!

The Bears have a great time this year as well.  In this level they get a deeper sense of being a Cub Scout.  They also are pretty excited, because at the completion of this year, they will become Webelos. 

They have achievements to earn and electives they can complete.  The completion of achievements earn their Progress Toward Rank beads.  Once all the beads for the level are earned, they receive their Bear badge.  

Once the bear badge is earned, the bear scout can earn arrow points!  They can complete electives or previously incomplete achievement requirements to earn one gold and many silver arrow points to wear on their shirts under their Bear badge.  Every 10 electives equals 1 arrow point.  

The Bears can also continue to earn Academic and Sport Belt Loops and Pins like they did in the previous year.

·          Bears wear the Blue Cub Shirt.

·          Bears participate in Den activities and outings.

·          Bears participate in pack activities.

·          Bears participate in the Pinewood Derby.

·          Bears wear brag vests.

·          Bears earn activity segments to sew/iron on their brag vest.
