May Graduation Picnic and Registration 05/21/2004 from 6:00 9:00PM? @ Beaumont.
This year the May graduation picnic will be at the Boy Scout Council Ring at Beaumont. The Council Ring is located on the right hand side of the main drive going into Beaumont. We advise you to look for signs for Wright Lodge, park in the parking lot next to Wright Lodge, then walk across the street to the blacktop trail leading to the council ring.
Activities are scheduled for right before dinner. Please note that we are asking all families to bring their own sandwiches, fried chicken etc. this year. The Pack will be providing beverages, chips and cookies. We are sorry about this inconvenience, but luck was not on our side once again for the Beaumont lottery and the site we were given has no pits for grilling hotdogs and burgers.
We will be handing out awards, including the shirts, scarfs, and slides for your sons next rank. Be sure to contact your den leader about ordering the necessary items for your son.
Our service project will be, collecting money for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. They will use our proceeds to purchase teddy bears which provide kids with a way to practice giving themselves injections.

SUMMER TIME ACTIVITIES:
Yes, the boys were all hoping for paintball, but the rules are pretty strict about only 10 and overs playing. Since this knocks out most our Scouts, we have scheduled the following summer activities based upon votes cast:
June 19th Cosmic Bowling at Four Seasons Brunswick (Olive and 141)
July 24th Miniature Golf at Big Bend Golf Center ( Big Bend and Dougherty Ferry)
August 7th Fishing Derby (Busch Wildlife)
Information regarding cost and times will be posted to the web site and e-mailed. The new scouting season does not start until September 04, so all scouts are welcome to attend the summer activities.
